At My Exam Buddy, we’re here to support students through the pressure of exam season – both inside and outside of school. Whether you're a teacher, parent, youth worker, or another professional working with young people, referring a student to our service is simple, straightforward, and impactful.
We work directly with schools to provide tailored academic and wellbeing support, including:
Exam-ready kits with compliant stationery and calming tools
Wellbeing workshops focusing on managing anxiety and building confidence
One-to-one or group mentoring sessions with trained staff
Drop-in hubs during high-pressure periods (e.g. GCSE or A-Level exams)
For students not currently accessing school or those who need additional help, we offer:
Outreach support and exam prep sessions in community settings
Home-delivered exam-ready kits for vulnerable or hard-to-reach students
Online support materials including blogs, checklists, and self-care strategies
Signposting to mental health and academic services
Step 1: Submit a Referral
Use our online referral form to share some key information about the student’s needs. This can be done by schools, professionals, or family members.
Step 2: We Review and Respond
Our team will review the referral within 48 hours. We may get in touch for more details or to confirm consent.
Step 3: We Build a Support Plan
Based on the referral, we’ll offer the student the most appropriate support package – whether that’s a one-off kit drop, ongoing sessions, or wellbeing support.
Step 4: We Keep You in the Loop
Referrers will be updated on the outcome and, with consent, be part of the support network going forward.
